thats what i heard, i did notice that when i went back out to the car a few days later the paint had gloss to it. Im thinking it loses gloss right when you put their solution on it but returns after a few days

murph - sorry I didn't respond to your question before now, but it looks like you have the process down.

When I said "polish", I meant the clean-up using dr.colorchip's rubbing solution. After the chip reapir is finished, I always give the paint a week to cure before applying wax. I've never had to actually polish a repair.
