chemical guys

Who's used chemical guys? I'm thinking of buying their soap and detail spray. I use zanio now. Too much different soap out there.

I use it and I love it. It very very closely resembles other high end detail products. Its just half the price. Use coupon code: gold. And get 5% off

Looks the same. Smells the same. Suds the same.

They have several different soaps, why did you choose that one? I'm thinking of using the yellow clean and gloss soap.

I have a handful of their stuff and I chose to use the products that had universally positive reviews on a bunch of detailing forums and have not been disappointed at all. So far, my favorite CG products are:

-V7 spray sealant: amazingly easy to use, looks great and leaves a slick finish and in my experience are equal Zaino z6/z8 in terms of performance.

-EZ Creme Glaze: very easy to use both by hand and by machine, is a good base to lay your choice of sealant/wax, and leaves a nice glossy look behind.

-Super-towel silk banded MF: these are priced very well, are consistently high quality, and are awesome to use with a quick detailer.

-Hexlogic buffer pads: I have used all colors on a range of paints with different polishes and they are very durable, work well with either a random orbital or rotary buffer, and finish very well.

The thing about Chemical Guys is you have to ignore their over the top advertising and product descriptions and just use what others have used and have had a positive experience with as there are some top notch products from CG.

That is on my list when my Adams is about 3/4 gone. I am just amazed at how good the Adams stuff is compared to the crap I was using. Glad I found this site.

I bought optimum car wash. I wanted to get the citrus wash for regular washes and also to strip the wax but there were a few people that had Problems sometimes removing the soap. I'm going to polish my z again soon.
Thanks for the help guys.

Now I'm thinking of buying cg detail spray, I see one has uv protection and isn't as slick, another is just very slick. Anyone have experience with either one? I'm leaning toward the spray with uv protection.
