I still think it's funny how all you guys are using all these chemicals.:shakes head:

I took my car out for about 4hrs today brought it home sprayed it with a garden hose and bugs came right off,dried it then put it in the garage.
You are making something simple complicated.:icon14:

nono, you're making things complicated. you drive a civic. if that was mine i would drive 4hrs and just keep the pos outside with no wash. let the rain take care of that. put a bar of soap on the roof. ;) :tup:

Has anyone used Goo-Gone on the Z? Just did a quick wash and wax yesterday but could not get a lot of the bug residue off. Think I let it sit too long. :(

As previously stated, damp dryer sheets. They will not scratch. It's sort of like a detailer's secret. I recommend the "Bounce" brand.

I've read good things about Poor Boys Buq Squash. I have some on the way along with some Ultima Waterless Wash Plus for the daily wash during bug season.

Tarminator works like a charm removing dead bugs and tar.
