Detailer's Nightmare - Phelan's Other Ride

Here's a link to one helluva detailing nightmare that is informative to say the least: Interior Mold

holy cow.

The inside cleaned up well to the eye. I really think that car needed to be destroyed though. Everything that was visible is going to be the exact same way behind the dash and under panels.

I agree, unless someone were to take everything apart and clean it with a commercial vapor cleaner—including all those surface already cleaned with the mold cleaner.

Wow, that's pretty bad. Good thing about that thread is I'm getting ideas on how to really clean the heck out of my family car. Not that it's moldy or anything, but I have food stains (3 boys).

TreeSemdyZee 04-08-2011 07:05 PM

How on Earth could anyone let a car get that bad?
I like where the owner said it had "some mold".

Imagine what the back of the dash and the back of the door panels still look like. It would still make me sick driving this down the road.
