Swirl removal with a drill

I tested out the foam pad sold @ O'reilly's Auto Parts with the Meguire's Ultimate Compound. The pad was $8.00 and it was attachable to any household drill.
I decided to test it out on my brother's Scion tC.
The results were pretty good. I know it's nowhere close to a professional tool, but at least it removes the swirl. Here are the before and after 1 pass.

Thank you sir!
I'll never get a car with no metallic flakes in the paint ever again haha.
I would rather have a black car with metallic flakes than a red car with no flakes lol.

wow, impressive.

I've always heard you want a power tool with a random orbit but I have to say the results look impressive!

Thanks a bunch :) means a lot!
So I've heard too. I said $8.00, why not give it a shot? x.x
I was scared to "burn" the paint since that's all you ever see in the internet.
It is actually pretty hard to do that if you just move the tool around.
The drill was uncomfortable to use though. I can see how the rotary/da/etc. can make life easier, but as for the effectiveness. I only had to do 1 pass and that was it. I guess the drill is pretty powerful haha xD I'll check the RPM later.
:ughdance:
However, this proved to be a cheap alternative for a guy that is bothered to hell with swirls haha.
