Removing gum from paint

Kicked up some fresh chewing gum on side of the car at lunch today. Plan on trying to remove after work. Any ideas? I've heard ice works and bug/tar remover, but wondered if anyone has tried something else.

Try Turtle wax that removes oxidation. If that doesnt work, try a little of goo gone. But first test that inside your door jam, to see if it hurts the paint. Don't let it stay on the paint for more than a few minutes.

If it's fresh, I would just start with some water and soap, if your car is waxed it shouldn't be to hard to remove.

If it's really stuck http://www.detailersdomain.com/1zein...arremover.aspx

Luckily, I had just waxed my car last weekend. I used ice cubes and the gum just came right off. I finished it off with some detailing spray and then a coat of wax.
