Clear bra on CF hood
 

My car has a clear bra on the current oem hood and i know its a life saver for chips on the paint.

I was wonder for people who have a CF hood if they put one on. As there is no paint is it still a good idea? whats the point? thanks for the chime in

Personlly, I think you'd be better off getting a couple of really hard coats of clear. Most CF comes already cleared, but most that I've had wasn't done very well or with very good quality clear.

Paint protection film is excellent on carbon fiber. It will protect it and prevent it from getting dinged up. I have been installing it on carbon fiber for years and always recommend it.
