Black scuff marks/scratches
 

So Sunday morning I noticed that my car has these scratches on the passenger side hood above the wheel well. I have no idea how this happened and I am pretty disapointed. I have never had any problems parking in my garage but it seems someone must have scuffed my car. The marks are in a weird location and are not on the side of my car where accidents usually happen. They are on my hood above my passenger side front wheel. Any recommendations on products to remove these black marks and scratches? I have attached a pic for reference. Hard to see from the pic.

They look like they should buff out. Take it to a detailer.

Haha yea took your advice and took it to a detailer on my lunch break and he buffed them out no problem. I was going to try and do it myself but I couldnt wait lol. Looks good as new again :tup:

Yea, almost looks like someone set something on there then slid it off... sadly I've seen it happen many a time in a parking lot where someone will use the hood or roof of the adjacent car to set their bags down while they open their car.

Unbelievably inconsiderate, but I'm happy you got it fixed without much issue.

Hey, this may be old issue. Just wanted to mention, keep a clearer wax handy, it will remove road tar, caked on bugs, tree sap and small scuffs. Just make sure the area has no dirt or sand, dab on cleaner wax and lightly swirl with finger till issue is removed, let dry then polish off. :tiphat:
