Dirty muffler tips? Try Wheel Wax!

So it's been about three weeks since I got my exhaust installed, and I hadn't really cleaned it until now. They were kind of yellow and were pretty dirty. Ii gave them a decent but light scrubbing with a spare wash mit I have while I was washing the car. After that they were still not sparkling quite like they were when new.

I decided to try Wheel Wax on them and the results were perfect. I swear they are even shinier than they were new. I don't have any pics to share, but the results are great. The wheel wax should also make it so they don't get dirty as quickly and are easier to clean.

I'm guessing any sort of wax that is safe on wheels should provide the same results. Definitely worth trying.

You should invest in a can of metal polish. Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish is a good one.

Why? Ultimately its probably doing the same thing. I got enough car detailing crap as it is.

Because it will actually get in there and polish the metal which will make it even more shiney than you could imagine. Plus it's only $4. I know you have $4. :)

Not after all the crap I keep buying for my car! :rofl2:

I'll check it out next time I'm in Autozone.
