6 hours ....water spot remover from Majestic solutions is what got the spots off then polish with wolfgangs , wax-Meguires.
trying to use the rest of my stuff then will use one line of products:tiphat:

for this detail i drove where i could borrow a garage-ha ha. but yes! I have the water filter hooked up and on my black truck it does not leave spots-thank you!!!!

thanks man-i had some help-had to borrow a PC for now .If you look at hood pic-you can see where the clear coat is damaged. Could not get those spots off.

well, the whole trunk and hood of the car has to be repainted. The clear coat is cracked-perhaps from tree sap. Got a quote for $1200 and will see if Simoniz holds up on the warranty.:icon14:

I guess this confirms how cheap the Nissan paint is... sorry to hear! Hopefully they're able to get a perfect color match!

the adjuster from the clear coat company(Simoniz) wants to do a wet sand to get clear coat off then re clear coat. This body shop i went to wants to repaint and clear coat the whole trunk and hood. do you know which is best?
