Cleaning the Engine Bay
I did not see a thread on this. If anyone has suggestions for proper procedure or best chemicals to use in cleaning the engine bay; it's appreciated.

I will post a link to the directions and product used when I get home later tonight.

bump.
I have a question, before you spray it down with water, can someone give me a list of things that are electrical in the engine so i dont damage it. |
Unless you've modified the factory wiring harness don't worry about electrical. A modern engine bay is very resistant to water intrusion. Just cover any open element filters and your alternator. Other than that you'll be fine.

I know this thread is old, but I’m detailing my engine bay in the next few weeks. The article posted by azn370z is great!
