How to fix spots on tach?

These spots just appeared on my tach like a year ago, and I have no idea how to get rid of them. I’ve cleaned the hell out of it, tried to scratch it off with my fingernail, nothing... anyone have any clues how to fix this?

Tach/speedo is pretty easy to disassemble. If you're up to the task I have a spare lens I could send you.

Here's a diy video on removing the cluster, it literally takes 10 minutes. PM me your mailing info and I'll mail it out to you. Since it's going to have to be bubble wrapped and mailed in a padded envelope there might be a small shipping charge.

Thanks so much! Finally got to swap it out tonight, looks soooo much better! It’s all in the details haha, added rep for both your posts in this thread.
Thank you!
