Sealant/wax questions
I am going to take a day to detail my z. My plan is just to do a layer of sealant followed by a layer of wax. Typical but my question is, after I remove the sealant can I start the layer of wax or do I need to let it cure? I was hoping to put one on and then the next, and finish it with some detail spray and be done. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know if he answers your specific question, but Junkman (Junkman2008) has a lot of great car care videos on here.

:iagree: Junkman knows all. Watch his videos if you haven't already.
To answer OP's question more directly: it depends on the product. The directions on the product label or the manufacturer website should tell you if any layers need curing. |
Sealant and wax for the most part can be layered directly with little time in between. I know some sealants require time to lay on the paint or time to cure after removal. Fallow those instructions and you'll be okay. If there is no cure tome for sealant go right ahead My advise would be ditch sealants and waxes and go to ceramic coatings. Waxes are dying pretty quickly with the new gloss properties of ceramic coatings.
