Decided against ceramic coating...
Synthetic wax with black magic eclipse wax on top seem ok as a decent option even thought I will have to re apply frequently (which I don’t mind)?

As long as you don't mind applying as frequently then the wax will do just fine. Ceramic coating is nice if you don't want to keep applying wax, makes in between washing easier too since stuff doesn't want to stick to the ceramic coating as easily.
I myself prefer the ceramic coating and will be doing cquarts ceramic coating in the spring. If you'd like there is also a Ceramic/Wax hybrid product Kamikaze Collection Infinity Wax Hybrid | Carnauba Wax + Ceramic Sealant Hybrid I personally haven't used it but looks like its best of both |
Surprised you went against it. I switch every customer from general sealant and waxes to coatings, especially when they see a demo in action of what self heal coating can do; https://www.facebook.com/zworklights...5858480666360/

I’ll look at that. Thanks for the info! Is it ok if there is already sealant and wax on the car? Or should I use dawn to remove it?

Why not do both? You can always layer on waxes and sealants on top of the coating, it never hurts to have more "protective layers".
~Edit - verify this first, research the coatings used. |

Some coatings explicitly state that putting anything on top of them will not only cause an adverse reaction but will also void your warranty. |

I was thinking more along the lines of carnauba wax on top of most general ceramic coatings (mostly safe, but I guess the disclaimer is to research first). |

OP as much as I love waxing my car, you simply can not beat the protection of a coating. My advise would be to go to a coating and use a topper as your (monthly wax) go to. |
