3 years with Xpel....as good as new, maybe better. Last time I went for service the guy checked my car out first and noticed a little 'mark' up on the RH front corner. I hadn't noticed it but knew it was something on top of the film. A dab of toothpaste was all it took.
The stuff is great. 104

A friend of mine just bought a new Jag SVR and I was explaining the clear bra to him and how he may want to go for it right now

I will share this thread with him

Very nice. Debating to buy the adams swirl killer and mini and do my own paint correction or take it to a shop. In either case would be in about 6mths to a year. Lot of people around here get the ppf and then ceramic coating on top. I think a good idea would be to get the parts most prone to road debris covered in ppf, just my two cents.

Certainly a good idea to me as well...

Around Christmas/New Year's time i'll be doing paint correction, ppf, and ceramic.
I was quoted 200 for the paint correction, 550 for the 3m ppf, and 100 cquartz UK ceramic coating i'll be applying 2/3 coats.
Only thing that sucks is that i'll have to drive from the paint correction place 25 mins to the 3m film place and then drive 35 mins back home to do the ceramic coating :(

If I were you I would see about getting a trailer. You will definitely mess up that paint correction job driving. Also, those are very low prices for the work being done. Unless you have a connection, I’d be concerned about the quality of work.

It's two of my customer's businesses both are giving me the hook up since I hook them up with discounts as well ;)
Normally the ceramic guy charges $600+ for paint correcting + ceramic coating
And normally the clear bra guy charges $850+

Yes you're right i'm going to need a trailer or have the clear bra guy come to the ceramic coat guy's shop to do it. Cause that's too scary.
I am concerned about if the paint correction will be done well enough that the clear bra applies without imperfections

Ahhhh very nice then!
Anyone (that’s competent) in the business of doing paint correction should be able to do it where there aren’t any imperfections. Maybe take a look at some of the work that’s been done on other vehicles or stop by the shop while they are working on one.
