Painting in cold/rainy weather
Not sure if this is the right place for this thread, but I am planning to buy a bumper soon, and wanted to try to repaint it with duracoats perfect match paint, but I live in Washington state and its ALWAYS raining.
For those of you that live here know that it gets crazy during winter. Would it be possible to paint outside in my porch (I live in an apartment complex) and between each coat to hit it with a heat gun from a distance to atleast speed up the drying process |

I'm with Junkman2008 - don't do it. If the moisture doesn't get you, the dust will. If you can't find a suitable place to spray, get a body shop to shoot it for you.

This is a troll thread, right?

It was a really serious/stupid question hahaha. Just wondering cuz of my current situation lol

Put some money aside until you can afford to have the professional do it?

I do my own painting. It's not hard. But no, do not do it in cold, humid weather. Paint booths at body shops are kept at 85 degrees with little humidity for a reason. Do you have a basement or garage you can paint in?

Even a pro is going to have problems if they are spraying on the back porch in cold, damp weather. |

I made a bad assumption that people have done this as often as me. Quote:
