What wheels cleaner you use?

I'm shopping for some wheel cleaners and a lot seem to say not safe for colored or painted brakes. So I'm a little hesitant. Do you guys use it anyways or is there one you would recommend?

That's why you don't wait weeks to clean them. Add to that, get a brake pad like the Wagner Thermo Quiet and you won't have to deal with brake dust. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

yah but ure still agitating after the application... plus if u do this during a dry day, chances are it will dry too quickly. id just stick to car shampoo and water. works just as good, no extra cost.

No you don't have to brush the wheel unless it has been a long time since you have cleaned them. Griot's make two types of wheel cleaner, one is a spray and rinse and then the heavy duty which really cleans a dirty wheel. The spray stays in place while you let it soak. I use a flexible brush to get in the detail areas of my wheels. Takes all of five minutes start to finish per wheel even if it has been weeks since the last wash. I use the standard wheel cleaner for a quick wash job (spray and rinse).

I've also used Meguire's All Wheel cleaner with good results.

Lot's of very good products out there to choose from. I like my choice.

maybe for the Z dat's fine since its brake dust isnt nearly as bad as brembo's. my brembo cars require some level of agitating no matter what after a few days of driving. hence, no meaning to use other products.
