Ceramic Coatings for Paint
Anyone gone this route? I've got my car going into the detail shop tomorrow and they're offering CQuartz Finest for 400 or Crystal Serum for 600. This is on top of the cost of the detail/paint correction itself which is 300/400 depending on how bad the paint is. Just wondering what the community has to say about it. I garage my car and generally only drive it on weekend. I'm more concerned with keeping it clean without having to invest tons of time in polishing and waxing etc. I have very little time on the weekends to enjoy the car and i'd rather spend it driving it than cleaning it. Any input is welcome!

I'm no detailing expert, but I don't think there's anything wrong with them if you've got the money for the right product and proper application. Here's a very thorough review and comparison of two products you might want to read :twocents:

I've got CQuartz on a couple cars. been on since june. I can go through just a laser wash touchless and they look spotless afterwards. The stuff really makes it easy to clean off and looks great with just drying the car off, plus, never have to wax again.

I ended up going with Crystal Serum Black. I haven't had the chance to get the car wet yet, but it looks amazing after the detail work. I'm very happy with it.
