Meguiar's Quik Wax
Used this product for the first time the other day and all i can say is wow! Product doesnt leave streaks and buffs off really easy, and more importantly, left the paint shiny and silky smooth. The product also has hydrophobic properties or whatever its called lol, and it proved it as when i went to wash the car a second time a few days after, the water would just run off the car. Really good product to use after each wash and between full detailing sessions

I use this on the regular as well and really like the product.

this day and age, these mist/wipe waxes and sealants are plenty for hobby cars.
i dont waste my time using real wax or polymer on my Z or G any more. just QD and on occasion, use these mist wipe wax/sealants. if yours is polymer based, id use it on wheels too. (spray into towel and apply) |
I used something similar from Meguiar's when I bought a 1979 Camaro Berlinetta (my first new car). For some reason, people were always trying to sit on the hood or fenders. I used the Meguair's spray quick wax and was happy with the shine but didn't really notice how smooth it was. Was ecstatic when the first person that plopped their butt on the hood ended up on the ground. That stuff was slick! Serendipity rocks. I've been using mostly Meguiar's ever since. Great stuff.

I use this for water spots after washing but still use a thicker traditional wax or sealant after I do any detailing with my PC
|
But thin is key..

Coverage and brand is key
This stuff is one step above QD for me, I just use it as a finishing procedure with my normal washes |
I've used it before. Great stuff for when you wash and the car doesn't need to be clayed. But if it needs clay, I have other products I layer that will last much longer than the Quik Wax.

i use prima hydro for spray sealant.
