well that's his personal information and he looks to be working for National material handling group... and he is with in driving distance or Portland where their main headquarters's are. so all though this looks to good to be true i cant find anything else about the person to make it seem false although i would love to see the vin of the car. |
Maybe his brother is his friend.
I figure I see a lot of those kind of responses. this really is/was a deal but the car is supopose to be picked up tonight. My buddy posted it on craigs and it went fast. just wanted to give the "Z" guys a chance.
Now how do I delete this post? |
I would apply for the lost title before picking it up. It gives 30 or 60 days (can't remember) where the state tries to contact the title holder. If they don't respond you get the car in your name, legally.

You can apply for a lost or duplicate title.
holy dead thread batman.
My bad...lol
I do wonder how this turned out?
If I were closer...I would have inquired.
Maybe check with the State Patrol to see if it has been reported stolen, notify them that you are taking possession from person XXX, and applying for a new title? If it comes up dirty, turn it over to the State Patrol??? Maybe wort case you are out title fees that the owner maybe gladly to reimburse? I know its a dead thread but hypothetically, anyone see any hitches with this approach? |
