Got Pulled Over!

I was 2nd at the traffic light. Lights went green, followed the car infront with a bunch of other cars behind, beside at normal speed (80km/hour zone). It was raining all was normal driving, I honestly didn't know how fast I was going but the car infront of me was going slow so I went to the center lane and passed him. Wasn't flooring the car or anything, and I was still within the pack of the cars. And as soon as I past him a cop was in front and pulled me over.

Long story short, he ticketed me at 125km/h. I hightly doubt I went that fast while I was surrounded by other cars. Also, from where I started from the light to where I got caught was less than 1.5KM; my defense would be, if I was going at 125km/h I would be "way" ahead of the pack of cars, but when I was pulled over, there were cars beside and behind me.

The cop claims that there was another cop on the bridge with a lazer.

Definitly going to court on this, any help and inputs would be great.

Thanks in advance everybody.

over here, people can go 125 or more if they are going with the flow....
if someone stands out, like a bullet going by..... then ticket and points to come

I was for sure not going by like a bullet. Sigh~....

Any court/arguement suggestions?

Get a lawyer.

Over 80 KPH in a 80 KPH is against the law any way you slice it. Get a lawyer and fight it. Good luck.

:waits for typical cop bashing to begin:

^luckily for some of us, there are now rules against that. :D

my friend got a ticket for pretty much the same thing. Went to court and said "i was going with the flow of the traffic, why did the officer single me out and not give everyone else a ticket" and it was dismissed.

**** happens!
You can definetly fight that!
As long as you can talk right your good.
Good luck and keep us posted...

Sucks bro.:shakes head:

Definitely attend court though. Half the time the cop may not even show and you may find yourself one less ticket.

Good luck

Will keep you guys posted, but will be awhile for the actual court date.
