Willowdale Nissan

I wanted to make a special thanks to Willowdale Nissan.

I discovered when trying to get my new wheels installed that the original dealer did not give me the key to the locking lug nuts leaving me in a bind at the tire shop. Yes I'm an idiot for not checking I just assumed that it would be in the back.

I called Willowdale Nissan from the tire shop and they stayed open late on Saturday to give me time to get over to their shop and installed my new wheels for me. Their extra effort was most appreciated as I was not previously a customer. With my work schedule it may have meant driving on my snows for another week and would have been extremely disheartening to have the new wheels sitting in the garage.

so... did you buy/get the key from them too???

just wanna make sure now you have one in your trunk... :icon17:

yes i bought new key and lock nuts from them, these would be for my winters. And I have put 5 lug nuts in the trunk for my spare as the new rims don't use the flanged lugs like the stock wheels.

I'm glad I have read this forum and not learned that lesson the hard way.

It's great that you had a good experience with a dealership. Those are very rare.

On another note, Why would anyone buy locks for their wheels? They're ugly and useless. If someone wants your wheels they'll take them.

It's true that if somebody wants your wheels they will just take them.

For me, it's the mentality of "If you want 'em, you better work for them."

And plus it might stall them enough for me to accidentally wander outside and hit them in the face with a wrench.

wow, lucky you. I for one, will never buy another car from them.

I didn't buy my car from them but they did help me out when I was in a bind and figured it was worth mentioning. Good dealership experiences seem to be the exception these days.

If your car's delivery was delayed because the dealership wanted to pocket the cash incentive available the following month, but you happened to find out and fought for it.

.... would you say you got a good deal? ;)
