Sorry for posting on an old topic but I thought I would share the info I found recently. I tried to stay up-to-date on infos regarding the 2015 370Z Nismo for about a month and in the past couple of days, I read that Canada would be getting the Nismo this year. Maybe you already know but, here are some links on it:\

For Canadian waiting for the 2015 370z NISMO, got an answer from Nissan Canada yesterday (08/11/14). They said it will be available in dealership later this summer.

cooltoy 08-12-2014 05:08 PM

It already is later this summer. Probably more like September.

S1L3NoZ 08-12-2014 05:19 PM

That's what I was guessing. Late August or September.

buy online thru US save maybe 8 g depending on negotiating skills. ship by transport to border pay taxes there. And yes before anyone blows smoke up you know where about warranty etc, I have done it. Purchased 2011 370Z touring coupe AT loaded april 2011 South Carolina. Warranty is only void if you flip the vehicle within 6 months of purchase. Good luck

U can expect that 370z Nismo to go for $60,000 Canadian!! You'll save huge buying from US. Their sticker price will be most likely around $45,000US

Can't bring in a brand new vehicle from the states. It has to be used.

New law? Or is it Nissan specific? I know this isn't true for other makes, not sure about nissan

cooltoy 08-24-2014 10:51 PM

I looked into it a year ago. Wanted a Nismo. Had to have something like 2000 miles on it before I could export into Canada.
Dealer in Montana would not sell me a new one. I can't recall if it was Nissan specific or a Customs law.

could be nissan. they may want to save their business in canada just like toyota, honda, etc...
I know it's possible because my friend bought a brand new Subaru last year. It's just the dealers don't sell to canadians. If you have someone you trust in US, you can get them to buy it for you and then transfer to your name so yes, basically "Used"
