What miliage did you get on your Z?

I will start:

First tank: 600km
Second tank: 639km

Note: slow breakin, under 4K RPM, hwy, street and traffic driving.

Canadian370Z 08-20-2009 03:08 PM

After 4500km I am averaging 28 mpg

Chupacabra 08-20-2009 03:29 PM

28mpg holy mother of good, that is great.

I am lucky to stay at 20mpg and get about 320-360 miles to the tank depending on how late i am to work and how often.

chris410 08-20-2009 03:33 PM

First tank 645km...still on second tank but it won't be nearly as many ;-) I was actually surprised that I managed to get 645km (400mi) out of a tank.

Sibze 08-20-2009 05:21 PM

lol I get around 800! I drive about 2 hours a day but all at 80 to 90 with like 3 to 4 stops each way. Around 7 to 8L per 100 K's.

So 72 (L tank) / 8 = 9 * 100 = 900 Km's

YamahaR6 08-20-2009 06:46 PM

Is your a hybrid engine?

FricFrac 08-20-2009 08:52 PM

WTF - drive your cars guys! I get 16 MPG! THe car is way more fun once you get it over 3000 RPM ;P

takayuki 08-20-2009 09:08 PM

on my first tank, i got about 740kms...... doing some highway driving. Its not really recommended for break ins but oh well.. on the second tank, it was a different story :)

mrarroyo 08-21-2009 06:23 PM

I filled up yesterday, 465 miles and 17.38 gallons = 26.75 miles per gallon. This is of combined city driving and highway driving.

Knux 08-22-2009 08:06 PM

The break-in time is KILLING ME. I'm @ 1700KM and ready to screem. It doesn't help that I was rusty at manual and I rode the clutch for a good week.

I love the car and premium isn't that bad on the wallet. I'm surprised insurance wasn't over 200 as well!

As for milage, lets not kid ourselves :happydance:

Drive safe!

WoZZer 08-22-2009 09:22 PM

On a long highway trip, got around 8 litre/100, but with a more spirited drive, getting around 10/100.

mspeasl 08-22-2009 11:13 PM

28mpg

We got 28MPG on a 3K Vacation trip in June
:tiphat:

Took a trip to NL last month. Odom was 6650km when I left. over 10000km when I got back to Halifax. The best mileage I recorded was 32mpg averaging about 110kph. I would think the prairie guys would do a lot better than this if they use a light foot. The trip computer for 'range' on my car is really accurate. It went blank and I was 50 km from the nearest gas station. However, the range for the tank of fuel prior to going blank was accurate as I made it to the gas station. I think I went 840km on that tank of fuel.

I just finished a road trip from Cleveland to Providence and back. Averaged 30.8 mpg. Almost all highway, with three traffic jams thrown in.
