My price for a Hakone White 370Z .... good deal?

Hey everybody,

I've been on this board for a little bit trying to gather as much information as possible. I thank everybody for their contributions.

So I pulled the trigger on a 2009 Hakone White 370Z M6 Touring with Sport package (no nav) for an OTD price of $49777.00.

The car is brand new (about 300km) and I will be picking it up next week!

It was pretty much impossible to get my dream of getting it at invoice ....

I hope I did you guys proud ....

300 is not brand new, it's just new

when i picked up the 1st G37 for sale, it had 22Km on it.

40349 invoice and 43998 MSRP

what did you get before taxes??

Zed370 08-13-2009 11:10 PM

I think it worked out to be about $1000 off

Zed370 08-13-2009 11:11 PM

They gave me the speech about how the car was limited and how few all the dealers were allocated ....

nogoodname 08-13-2009 11:13 PM

that's what i got when i bought in 2007 when the economy didnt crash yet.

you should get better....i mean i got 1000 off MSRP and PDI was free

so like 2500 off a brand spanking new G37

Zed370 08-13-2009 11:21 PM

Oh well, I guess what's done is done. The papers are signed and the car will be ready by next week. I just read that most people had to wait a couple months for their car and they got roughly similar deals. So I factored in the no wait time and the chance I get to drive the car before winter kicks in.

I was paranoid that Nissan would raise the price (a la GT-R) for the 2010 and that I would end up spending more ....

FricFrac 08-14-2009 12:35 AM

You got a great deal! Anything below MSRP is really tough in Canada. From what I can tell there were less than 100 '09 that were sold in Canada making it a super rare car. Are you in Vancouver?

Zed370 08-14-2009 01:41 AM

I am located in Vancouver, the car was found in Pitt Meadows - so it wasn't too bad of a drive for me. I haven't seen too many 370Zs in the city (I do see a lot of 350Zs and G35s, G37s in town).

k20z3 08-14-2009 03:49 AM

Ya man go for it!

I am definitely looking forward to driving her I will post pics when I get the car.
Nothing on my mod wish list, I think the sport package will do me well for now.

The Z is a big step up from my civic ... I will have to learn some new things and drop a couple bad habits in the process ....
