Crappy service at Morrey Nissan,Burnaby

I made an appointment to get my car looked at,the fuse box lid came open and there was a wire with a fuse hanging out,i could not for the life of me figure it out where to put it back in,because my car is still in under warranty i take to get checked out,the service advisor comes out and looks at it and says nope thats not a stock wire its aftermarket?i was like what are you talking about...he said it probably has to do with the aftermarket nav unit you had installed,i was like its not and he started arguing with me,and told me to take it to a car audio shop wtf?

I plan to pick up a GTR in the next year possibly two,i was really considering giving Morrey my business,i actually bought Steven Morreys 350z back in 2003when he was running his Mazda store in North Van.

Im pretty pissed....im in the car business,i never mentioned it to the service advisor when i was there,i kind of wished i did.

Just wanted to aware peeps,im not bashing the Morrey group as a whole, just a few bad apples i guess.

Morrey Nissan blows.

I asked them to install daytime headlights on my car that I bought brand new in the US, and the advisor got all snooty and goes it will cost $550 dollars. He did not even look in the book or nothing, was pissed I bought the car brand new in the USA, you could tell. Made some comment about US bought cars.

So I called another local Nissan dealer and they gave me the right price $230.

Ever since, I have done all my maintenance thru them. Sucks for Morrey as I get my premium service done on time, every 3000 miles. Never will step foot in that dump ever again.

Yup..he was uninterested in my car as my car is also a US car.

Service advisors are known to upsell, thats how they get paid, majority of them hate taking in warranty work, they love the customers who are out of warranty.

Wow! That's so surprising to hear. I too bought a US car and had to have the daytime running lights activated. I called every dealership in the lower mainland. Quotes went as high as $500. Morrey was the only one that said it was a simple reprogram of the ECU. They charged me $56 to do it.

Very dissappointed they've gone the other way :(

Now, ironically, work has transferred me down to So Cal and had to import the US car back to the States :)
