True or False all CDN 370z come with VLSD?

Hey guys,

I've searched the forum and see mentioned a few times that all Canadian model 370z whether sport model or not have the VLSD but don't see where they are getting the facts from to state this claim.

Does anyone know 100% and how do you know?

The reason Im asking because if I ever want to upgrade my diff I want to make sure I am buying the right replacement parts.

Thanks.

Yes, they do... I know because... They do?

You can check several ways, one is to lift one side of the car and see if the wheel spins, or evidently ONLY the VSLD models have a silver cover, vs black for open diffs

Man you are everywhere, lol.

So I just checked the rear cover and its silver so that's a good sign.

I wasn't sure how the VSLD works exactly when just turning slowly by hand so never thought of trying that.

Thanks man so Im guessing even though I have a touring non sport I would need to order a diff for a sport model. Doesn't seem that clear on most aftermarket parts websites as they only specify sport vs. non sport, nothing about our special CDN models.

Lol, yes I am! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Yeah, but just lift one edge, if you can spin it, it's open. That's a sure fire way of knowing

Not sure how you missed it but it's in black and white on the Nissan Canada website listed as standard equipment:

Nissan Canada - Vehicles

Thanks. Easy for me to miss because I've never looked up the specs at nissan.ca only nissan.com

Anyways good to know I have a diff that's just very slightly better than a completely open diff.
