Vendors in Toronto

Hey Guys,

Just getting started with Z, recently purchased the ARK DT-S Exhaust (from UNIQ Performance-GREAT SERVICE). I am now looking for other parts, where are you guys finding/buying your parts? US?

Second question, would you guys recommend getting either a HFC or intake or both? Please keep in mind i have an 7AT (... i know).

Appreciate any help, thanks guys.

I'd go intake first

Well if both is an option why choose? Go with both! Otherwise get the HFC since you already have the exhaust and just install them at the same time.

HFC is a must if your a sucker for more power and better sounding exhaust. Its by far the biggest bottle neck in the entire power train of the car. Intakes help a bit with the top end power and if you get the right ones they make a mean induction noise when you let off the throttle.

stillen G3 intake gave me 20 at the rear wheels.

all transmissions are welcome ;)
that said, obviously both is best but as someone else mentioned the HFC is probably the biggest upgrade. Most people say Berk is the best but there are numerous other brands. Test pipes are a good alternative also, cheap and good power gain. Also in toronto we can circumvent the emissions issue easily. I went with Berk HFCs but i honestly wish i just went with test pipes ...

btw welcome to the toronto Z scene. everyone's super friendly!
we meet weekly for coffee/cruising!

I'm going to need more info for the emissions testing... but the rules will probably change by the time I need to get it done.

Thanks for the welcome. I heard test pipes, produces a rasp, a smell and eliminates any filtration of all the fumes and stuff... but I suppose i should get my CBE installed first and see how that goes first, im kinda against having those loud exhaust system. I originally wanted to get the matching ARK HFC, but it's not compatible with 7AT (BOO!)... i looking for something exactly like it, see below.

I also wanted to know where everyone is getting there parts (CBE, HFC, test pipes, intakes, spacers, lowering springs (SWIFTS.), body kits, etc.)

Thanks again, for all the responses... hope to see you all one day :hello:

seems like thos ARK HFCs combined with the exhaust are producing more rasp then anything else. Berk HFCs will produce more drone (may cause headaches). ERZ HFCs are a good cheap alternative i hear.

as for parts i got most of mine directly shipped from US. However recently i was introduced to a shop in mississauga (tires23.com). They deal with GTRs alot however they can hook you up and their pricing and service is actually great. Give Billy or Beny a call sometime and check with them about certain parts.

I buy almost all my parts from the US. If you can afford both the HFC and Intakes than do it! Who cares if you have an auto, still a Z :driving:

thanks for all the responses.
