Plans for your VQ this spring?
I plan on taking it out in 2 weeks. I am installing front SPC shims, SPL spring bucket replacement arms, lock out bolts, alignment, install sways, install exhaust and install my one of a kind front lip. Gonna be a great season!
Here's a video to get this going lol. MontrealVQ Winter 2012 2013 Reel - YouTube |

I'm planning on getting my exhaust reworked, removing the resonators and getting it to bolt up to my down pipe. Finally getting the body kit painted, and taking a trip to see Vince at R/T Tuning to get my car tuned.
I think thats it unless I can work out some kind of sponsorship. |

My plans are to do instals of the parts I have had laying around since last season :shakes head:
- I still need to instal my nav bypass and rear view camera from bdl99 @ thecarkitcompany - I have hood struts coming from kellyefields this week :excited: - I am waiting on a response from CFE so I can place an order on a few interior trim CF pieces - I plan on ordering takeda CAI with tax return - Buying probably just tires for now (PSS), thinking I will wait on getting the wheels until I can afford to get some really sick ones! I would rather just do it once then buy now only to replace them again in 1-2 years :ugh2: - I am also trying to get a GTA group buy for oil coolers going |

All the parts are starting to arrive. I now have a cabin filter, front lip and front camber shims. SPL toe arms are coming in on Friday. Swaybay and catback are soon to arrive also. Your nav bypass nod shouldn't take long. It's fairly easy to remove the center console. |

:iagree: the bypass and the camera shouldn't be to hard. I have opened up the center console once before with no issues. I am thinking that while I do the camera instal I will do some sound deadening while I have everything opened up in the back, I have wanted to do that for a while now. |

When I had my z32 I installed a 34 row and had no issues mind you I only drove it on super nice days (hot in other words lol) |
Yeah in the spring an fall you might need to make a block-off plate depending on the size of the oil cooler, shouldn't be an issue for us in the summer. That's based on a 25 row (most popular down south).
|
true I was thinking of getting a big one (34) and making a plate for it until I go FI in the future

Everyone seems to have soom good plans!
LMBMikeZ - That Nav bypass allows you to use the nav and have DVD playback while in motion right? Rear view camera will be a sweet addition...to this day I STILL leave too much space when backing up lol. For me I got the following this spring: - Change my INJEN intake filters. - Install Stance GR+ Coilovers - EVO-R CF Front and Rear Emblems - EVO-R CF Mirror covers (just bought them used, may re-clear them before install, could use some shine) - EVO-R CF side blades (I got a another set used off a member, damaged mine in summer) - Install INGS+1 Rep front lip (needed a front lip badly) - Hoping to order my tires in 2 weeks. Potenza RE-11's (265/305) I figure I get to drive my Z 8 months a year, might as well get the most performance possible...especially for the occassional Time Attack I think I'll take my car out of storage March 25th, bring it home (put the beater on the street) and take a few days off work so I can do some of my modifications  Yay Spring :excited: |
Hey GreatOne yes the bypass allows u to use nav and playback DVDs while in motion  excited to have that and the rear view cam installed I have had them for a while now :shakes head:
Also looking forward to the new tires and oil cooler! CF parts I still need to order but I want my Z back to double check to make sure I order the right red cf I want to go with our red interior. |

Red CF will look awesome in the 40th I think, I considered going that route for my panels but then just stuck to black since I had black CF guage hats already CFE does amazing work so you won't be dissapointed! I'm still debating on doing my engine cover...but that $$ should go to my tire fund first lol. |

:happydance:Going to order some carbon fiber parts, B pillar and maybe PW radiator cover and the best part will be some FI resonated HFC's
|
Well, my reunion with my car isn't till summer... But I'll chime in. Z1 SP brake upgrade package, JWT clutch & flywheel, CSF radiator, Z1 red polyurethane engine bay hoses, M370 [bought another one :)], EVOR lip, twin supercharger kit.... and maybe a new exhaust if my current one doesn't do well under FI. Oh, I'm on the same boat with 265/305 RE11's, but on 20/25mm spacers.
