Maybe you should talk to another dealer. Most will ship from other provinces to get sales. There are four 2009 370's in the Edmonton area unsold at 2 dealerships. FYI

Z's are not selling here either, for 3 months, 2 Z's on autotrader have been sitting there.

and one dealer posts the same ad in the newspaper for one since march...lol

When the dealers look up a vehicle here it searches all of Western Canada so if you call one dealership assuming they have two brain cells working they should all have the same info.... unless of course it's just rolling off the truck at the dealership and not in inventory....

A plane ticket to a western city is cheap. Fly out Friday night, pick up the car and begin drive back Sat and be home at the latest by Sun night. I guess it depends on how bad you want a Z. I personally would have flown to TO from Halifax had I not got the car in Halifax. Hey, think of it as a weekend adventure!

This time of year is extremely busy for me so freeing up a few day is impossible. Would be a lot of fun though, as I've never been to eastern Canada.

That's what I did. Winnipeg still has no 370Z with sport & nav. I went to Alberta to get mine and then shipped it back to myself!

While the Center of the Universe (eg Toronto) may be a day's drive for you its 4,400 km for us (4,600 km if you don't cut through the US).... I'm pretty sure you're not going to want to be doing 180 km/h on a brand new car that hasn't been broken in.

At least not on the first day ;).

I realize everything is east of your locale but a western city is like Calgary or Regina. Don't worry, the drive back won't hurt the engine. Just fluctuate the rpm's now and then by up/down shifting a gear.

FricFrac 07-05-2009 11:59 AM

...right but what we were saying is there are NONE of the package he is looking for in Western Canada.... right up to Ontario....

Reality 07-05-2009 12:18 PM

It would be fairly inexpensive to ship the vehicle back to the west coast.. So, I am confused as to why the OP would wait, when he could have his z within weeks by simply purchasing it from another province..

I just did a search from B.C. to Ontario and there is nothing in stock.

6MT 07-05-2009 02:43 PM

Don't know what kind of search you did... but Sherwood Nissan has 3, Ericksen Nissan has 1, and Mills Nissan has 2. (In the Edmonton area)

Even just looking on the Sherwood web-site shows their inventory.
