that's a huge difference.... and 1900 is with the HD CSC.

can you I might ask around with my own mechanic and see how much he will charge me too.

reason why I talk with WH is because of their reputation.

but if the price difference is like 800 bucks...

i will have to look around too...

Yeah, i mean.. you do get what you pay for and WH rep is great but $1,900 sounds a bit much to me tbh... The shop i went to, i know them and they are in the car scene themselves so its a passion for them just as much as it is a job. I've never had an issue.. you can go to them if you cant find cheaper...but im sure you will! Let me know if you need anything else!

by the way, do you recall is the CSC of your Z is located outside of the transmission? I just notice we have the same 2011, and I roughly remember mine is outside the transmission.

Al chongo!

I did the hd csc with ss line and a new master. Dont forget to grab some motul rbf 600!

I remember i had an issue with my bleeder and ended up going thru 2 bottles of rbf, 1 endless, 1 oem and 6 different screws lol

Anyways labor wise... ill have to dig some reciepts but i think it was about 600. All in (with an oil change and bottles) was 1600 iirc. Was a few years ago. Ill try dig up the reciept and confirm.

Miss my z :( i am debating getting a new nismo but then id still need to get the csc, rjm pedal. Might skip the intake/exhaust/tune but that really made a difference lol

hey mishuko!!

I am more bias to get it done somewhere now because after getting some info from here and talk with my mechanic friend last night, seems it can be done faster and cost a less.

And of cos it won't be done by a random mechanic that just charge less.

thinking will get the parts from the ZSpeed.

Totally understand. Fyi i always went to speedstar. They treat me good there and price for me is fair.

I think it waa 5 or 6 hours and they asked to keep my car overnight to make sure no leaks (which there was!)

Yea i did get everything through Whitehead for parts. Or off forum members (hotrodz)

mishuko 08-17-2018 05:09 PM

And i dug thru my reciepts... its mia. :/

my mechanic quote me $350 for the whole job, need the car for about 1 day.

Hey Alcheng, hope you are well buddy. I was the one sitting in ASUS' car and testing out the clutch pedal. You sat in my Z and tested the clutch out as well, I was the one who went with Z1. Z1 vs Zspeed is a throw up when it comes to a debate. The Zspeed clutch system does not need to be adjusted, it does that on its own. The Z1 CSC elimination kit needs adjustment carried out by an individual.
