Do you guys store your Z in the winter? I live in downtown Toronto, but even then I find the snow tough... probably because they never plow the roads....

I plan on storing my Z by the end of this month. The Z, even with winter tires/wheel package, was never designed for snow.

i store mine... if you plan on driving it in the winter get a set of 18''s with a decent pair of winter tires.

rust proof it, add a few bags of sand in the trunk and drive with caution.

I store mine.
On another note....spotted a blue Z exiting southbound 404 last night at about 7:20. Was heade to Steeles. Looked to have an Amuse kit.

theres a girl with a newly installed amuse kit in markham. thats likely the one you saw. theres another one thats matte blue amuse also in markham

I drove mine for 3 years in winter. No problem unless there is too much snow but that goes for all cars.

I'm storing mine this year, finally!

Brief encounter with Ire today @ fairview! :hello:
Woulda loved to chat, but had a reservation to get to!
( didn't recognized your car, thought it was black until I checked instagram. )

But jesus your car is even lower in person, and that red wrap is amazing, love it.

haha thanks man.
when i pulled up (i usually park in that exact spot as its away from the sun/rain, its never busy and its right beside an entrance) i thought it was blueballs as he and i were having a little fun on the highway. i thought "wtf how did he get here before me" then i saw the brembos.

nice touch, im very pleasantly surprised you went with performance first. we had a couple nice drives tonight.

seen a lot of z's out this weekend. 350's and 370's alike. on sunday about to head onto the DVP southbound going west on express a silver 350 was about to line up with me then got cut off... he promptly spirited away :driving:

oh and on my bike ride through mainstreet unionville i saw a white on parked at a house... looked shiny :tiphat:

welcome change to see a lot more z's on the road in the past few days than i see stang's and porches.

the matte blue one has an amuse kit too i think... i've seen it around a few times. i tried waving but either the tints are blocking the wave or getting the cold shoulder :(

Planning to store the Z around mid Nov... The weather is still good for driving the Z

already put on some winter tires for my winter beater STI..:icon18:

night blade 10-27-2015 02:38 PM

By mid November the temperature in the GTA is going to be 5C as a high, not waiting that long and going to store it within a few days, winter tires go on the bus in a few weeks.

adidascanada 10-27-2015 02:47 PM

Yeah, starting to lean towards storing my Z shortly. :(
