Hood scoop

Looking for a nice hood, just tried stick on scoop but it won't stay down for some reason, maybe I need a new hood but I don't like the carbon fiber, any ideas????

gomer_110 08-11-2012 09:03 PM

Seriously "nice hood" and "stick on scoop" should NEVER be used in the same sentence. I really hope you're just trolling us on the stick on scoop.

I am not asking for an argument here I just want some ideas on what there is out there for a nice hood with vents

Cafiax 08-11-2012 09:35 PM

Pics of what you attempted?

If you want high quality JDM, look into Varis, Top Secret and I think Amuse has one also. Be prepared to shell out though.

Marcusz 08-12-2012 07:49 AM

I did some reviews on the seibon ts and apparently there is some fitting issues, gaps and stuff like that?

martin82 08-12-2012 11:59 AM

Mine fits fine.....

I am here: Google Maps

hey, did you make the windshield fluid nozzles work? and does the rubber liner between from bumper and hood need to be swapped over to cf hood also?

martin82 08-12-2012 05:27 PM

the nozzles works, I had to adjust the holes a bit on the hood (too small), you transfer the liner and use double sided tape etc. swap out hood latch and the 2 secondary latches.

Varis is awesome, i agree. But you gotta be ready to spend some serious cash.

6MT 03-28-2013 11:34 PM

Well... I like the car...not the scoop.

Luciano13 03-29-2013 11:11 AM

It almost looks like a celica..... Not too sure if the scoop suits the 370z body lines. If your happy with it, that's all that matters. Fruck everyone else.....
BTW i love your garage

Marcusz 03-29-2013 11:23 AM

Thank you luciano
