blue is like.. a super exclusive and limited edition. I had to pay like $15,000 more to get mine in blue. and it was all worth it.

of course he's joking. he just prides himself on being a blue Z because as you can see from the pics ... we dont have much colour in our meets lol

Alright... yesterday I mention Mr.Fire might come up to visit the GM plant at the end of this month, what I am thinking is we can setup a cruise on the Saturday or Sunday of that weekend.

It will be at the end of this Month. Since we don't need to wait for the next long weekend, so I think any weekend is fine for everyone, and we rather do it in Sep than Oct cos the weather is getting cold.

The route will be the one I ran with MrSir earlier this year...

I will contact Mr.Fire to confirm the date of his visit.

also has anyone tried it? is there a place in the GTA that does good work? i also have a imperfections i want looked at. thoughts?

LOL, I actually add the 'warm filter' on some of the pictures by photoshop, otherwise I just slightly adjust the contrast/brightness.

Regarding the cruise, Mr.Fire PMed me tonight and saying he is planning to come to Toronto on the last weekend of Sep which is the weekend of the 29th and 30th.

We can setup a cruise on the 30th, then Ire can also join cos no work on Sunday for him.. :tup:

Yes, paint correctin is safe, if the detailer knows what they're doing. It's not cheap and will take a couple days to do a full proper correction. I do correction work, but might be a little to far for you.

oh man that's exactly what I want to do. where do you live again? more details! I was thinking of just sending it to a shop or something if it was reasonable. there's lots of swirl marks that other people don't notice but obviously being my car looks to me like someone tore the doors off and sandpapered it top to bottom Q_Q

everything down to washing the wheel wells I want to do. I was half tempted to air compressor/power wash my whole engine bay when I was putting on the shocks but ended up just wiping everything down with a rag :P

Cruise on the 30th afternoon sounds good, let me confirm with Fire first...

Cobourg, ~1.5 hours east of Yorkdale mall.

You will pay a crap ton of money to do the same kind of work that I did to my own car. If you drive your car a lot, I would pay someone to do some correction work and coat with Opti-coat. The wheel wells you can do yourself to save some $$$
