Vancouver 2012 pricing

Anyone local to Vancouver care to share their 2011/2012 pricing?
Just curious what is a good deal here for a loaded 7AT with sport and tech.
Hard to gauge with most pricing discussions on the forum being US.

brand new? or used

sparky 02-21-2012 07:37 PM

Brand new 2012. I have the carcostcanada "invoice" price but I don't have complete faith in it. Mostly curious how much hidden money the dealer gets back from factory or the so called factory to dealer unpublished dollars.
Report says:

Wholesale price: 39106.00
Freight: 1640.00
AC tax: 100.00
Sport pkg: 3667.00
Nav pkg: 2567.00
Gun met paint: 135.00

Total: 47215.00

This is a 7AT "wholesale" cost.

I'm assuming you have to add pst & gst (?). That pricing sounds about right.

sparky 02-21-2012 09:17 PM

HST only in BC for now but next year it will be going pack to the old taxes.

6MT 02-21-2012 09:37 PM

So how much is the pst above the $47215 would that be?

sparky 02-21-2012 11:06 PM

7 % would add 3305.05 PST and 5% would add 2360.75 GST.
This would make an out the door wholesale total of 52,880.80

Of course now it's just 12% HST which is the same thing.
Where are you 6 MT?

6MT 02-21-2012 11:30 PM

I'm in Alberta. Just 5% gst here. I think the above numbers are pretty close to the real world in B.C..

we will arrange a meet eventually when weather gets better.

gabo 02-23-2012 03:00 AM

maybe you've seen mine. PG color and deep dish 20's wheel with sunline CF kit

Cafiax 02-23-2012 04:02 AM

:) down for a meet. Just got 20mm/25mm spacers installed. waiting for the weather to get a lil better to install the shine auto kit :D. I'm mainly in Richmond sometimes Burnaby. :( there are so many Zs here... 80% are stock tho, I'm guessing they don't know about the site.

spitfiretr7 02-23-2012 07:52 PM

get the 6 speed manual - vastly superior to an automatic.......and so easyto shift and drive..

sparky 02-23-2012 08:28 PM

Ya I would prefer a stick. That's all I had for years but a bad knee had me switching to auto.

Haven't seen you yet Gabo. Saw a PG the other day through Poco but it was stock.

Just noticed you guys posting in the wee hours!

my car is really loud buddy. I've got T1R Cat back and T1R test pipe. How soon are you getting a Z? and its true, get a manual, i dont know if you have tried the syncro-rev yet but its awesome and makes shifting wayy easier. Every Z owner ive met up with has stick. go for it.

^what he said lol

sparky 02-23-2012 11:36 PM

Going in this Saturday to hopefully finalize purchase.
Manual is tempting but this will be a DD and I got rid of my last manual because my knee couldn't take the clutch work in stop and go anymore. (I'm an old guy. LOL)
You must agree the 7AT works pretty damn nice in this car and at least has rev match in semi auto mode.
