Well I got a call from my dealer today and my car just got off the boat and will be here in about a week. My 31 + week wait is finally over. When the car arrives the dealer has been told not to even wash it. They will do their mechanical inspection then release the car to me. I will then perform a new car preparation inside and out. No kids will be washing my car with dirty wash mitts thank you very much. After a full decontamination and a light machine polish, clear bra will be installed and the winter wheel package will go on. I will take pics before and after and post them.

Do you think the dealership is screwing with you? 6-7 months wait for a Nissan is a little bit too much.

NXTAZEE 12-18-2009 11:10 AM

I picked up the car yesterday. I have one word to describe it "AWESOME'. I finished the new car prep last night and today I will install the Z emblems and splash guards. This colour (Carbon Silver) is absolutely beautiful. By not having the dealer prep my car, the paint was flawless. After washing it and then giving it a gentle polish it looks even brighter now. Pics to follow.

I missed the cut off for the 09's so that was part of it.

I know I know. I've been working everyday since I got the car so it's been difficult to takes pics. Also the weather has been terrible. I don't want to post pics of a dirty car either. I promise, they are coming.

I have a comment about the info screen to the left of the tach. I really like it. All I heard was how terrible this thing was etc etc. It doesn't look that bad and it's very informative as well. Maybe I'm so lovin this car that I would like anything it has, but I think it's pretty darn good. Also the Carbon Fiber emblems look AWESOME with this color.

Hey!!! perfect timing before Christmas. Perhaps we can make a connection on V. Island this next summer. I would like to go back again and meet up with the "Island Folks"... and is also where my brother lives.

Merry Christmas!

Don't mind the chronic complainers. I don't have a problem with the computer readout either. Heck, after putting on over 19K km's I don't have any problems with the car. OMG, do you think a perfect Z slipped through the assembly line and I'm the chosen one!!??

I like the display but I'm not a big fan of the fuel "gauge". I'd like to see it integrated in the display instead.... or at least additionally

Your pictures remind of greener, less snow times. Thought I would inlcude a picture from this summer. Have fun now that it finally arrived!
