Curb Rash Repair - GTA

:mad:Well for starter's I feel like an idiot. At lunch today, parking to get lunch I went a little steep into a parking spot and rashed the rim Front RH(they are very soft). Well it about 1/4" scrap down from the top of the rim and about 10" long.
I spoke to my dealership and they have repaired them, but send them off to be repaired and take about a week.
Have you guys had any experience with local GTA shops or mobile repair places that might have fixed your rims.

Alphawerx was amazing in my experience but I didn't use them for wheel repair.

Wheel Wizards in the Hamilton area is also a quality wheel shop, they did a amazing job repairing a huge dent in my rim back when I had my winter setup on the car, but they were slow and pricey.

I've seen phil do some good work on fixing other people's wheels. I'll pm you the info

I've gotten rims refinished by Carcones before...
2 day turn-around time..
Great finish.

However, some colors they may have problems with matching. I had an Infiniti FX, with the Gun-metal finish wheels, they advised me that the color wouldn't be 100%. So I had all 4 refinished by them to have them match.

I just spoke to Carcone's and they need 2 - 4 days right now. But it sounds like there are a very experienced shop and would do a great job.

Yes I did. I curb rashed my A4's rims badly (1/4 of the rim), and it came back out perfect. A little pricy (~$250 IIRC) but it came out OEM color.

They're pro at repairing rims, so you can trust on their work.

If you want REALLY nice work done, there's another company at Quebec that does even better, but more $$$

Thanks for the Info. I will probably get them to do it in the fall when the tire can come off.
They want the tire dismounted, should I get Nissan to pull the tire off. I don't want some monkey scratching the rim even further.

Well if they do scratch it they will probably fix it with out u even knowing. But the rim shop takes tires off all the time though, after all they are fixing rims for a living.

Rim King, they're mobile. Haven't tried them myself though.

Any DIY solutions to at least hide some of the rash? Yes, I finally got friendly with a curb too :(.

I took my rim to carcone's and the completely re-finished the rim. The only down side was, the base coat is black and the inside of the rim wasn't masked off. It's a good look, now I just have to get the other 3 rims to match.
