Sweet! I think I'm going #2! Are you rockin them on your car or tool box?

I just ordered the SPL Parts Pro Rear Camber Arm from Mike at Doubledown Motorsports. I figured while I'm doing the springs anyways...

I am SO tempted to get the HKS Hipermax III coilovers.... I think they would be kick@ss but....

nogoodname 07-06-2009 02:38 PM

i'm saving them for the Z, i have a G right now..lol...no read reads my sig...lol

EVO_Killer 07-06-2009 02:42 PM

FricFrac 07-06-2009 05:00 PM

The braid is unnescessary - the wire is more important. I'd use teflon coated silver plated wire myself.... PM me if you need a hand with the harnesses....

EVO_Killer 07-06-2009 05:45 PM

Hey FricFrac! What colour grounding kit you get? You should post some pics.

nogoodname 07-06-2009 06:41 PM

Few questions for you on the Stillen license plate bracket:
- How fast was the shipping?
- Do you have the mount the plate off center like that?
- If you don't get the Stillen, do you have to drill into the front bumper?

Thanks!

6MT 07-28-2009 02:14 PM

For the OEM unit; there are already pilot holes in the front cover for the mount.

Shipping as about a week but remember I am international. The guys at Stillen.com are awesome!

No drilling required with the Stillen it goes in the tow bar hole. And thats why its off to the side.

Thursday lots of awesome pics coming......

Sorry - just to confirm, so there are already holes drilled into the front bumper to mount the license plate? If that's the case, I might as well use the stock mount as going with the Stillen would just leave empty holes?

Yes. They are pilot holes. (Pilot holes are "locater" holes, so you don't have to "locate" the proper spot to drill.)

Excellent, thanks for clarifying.

Do you have the GT-Spec brace installed? If so, how far does it go down? (ie: is it closer to the ground than the stock stuff under the car?) I am looking at one, but the car is already pretty low and I am worried about bottoming out with it.

You sure got a lot of stuff added to the car. Don't you just love that Stillen exhaust rumble? I did the Stillen HFC's and the CBE as well as the Sway Bars. I only went for the Gen-II CAI though. I'm worried about maintenance of the filters behind that front clip (plastic fasteners wearing out or breaking) and also the possibility of water invasion. Is there a by-pass on that CAI in case of water intrusion? I know AFE CAI's have them as an option.

Anyways, you car looks cool!! Check out the pics I took last night of mine. They're on my profile page.

EVO_Killer 07-30-2009 09:38 PM

No I don't have it on yet but I heard it scrapes a bit... Read that on here somewhere. I think RCZ.....

You only have to change the K&N filters every 5 years...... Haven't had any water issues but I don't dirve it to often in the rain.

I am really thinking about getting some HKS Coilovers and either Volk RE30 or GT30's. Had a real B*tch of a time at my Nissan dealer today. Didn't get my Eibach springs on, no radiator hoses, no camber arms....Grrrrr!!!! I am now planning a trip to Edmonton just to get stuff installed at Sherwood Nissan. They actually know what they're doing...

EVO_Killer 07-30-2009 09:42 PM

How you liking your Stillen Sway Bars??? Thoughts and impressions?

I am thinking about sways but don't want a harsh ride...

FricFrac 07-31-2009 01:20 AM

Evo are you tracking your car?

EVO_Killer 07-31-2009 08:10 AM

Tracking maybe next year. Drag racing in a month....

The Stillen bars are great! I test drove three 370's and all had apprecable body roll. With the Stillen bars (set on max. in the back), there is no noticable body roll. There is some, but what a difference!! I'd recommend it. The ride Isn't "harsh"; that's the suspension. The bars just get rid of the body roll in cornering.

Right on. I'll be going for driver training at the end of August if everything works out OK. I'm pumped! Gotta get the oil cooler though. I suspect coil overs and sways will follow ;)

EVO_Killer 08-01-2009 07:47 AM

Just pulled the trigger on some HKS Coil Overs. Can't wait!!!

I am also thinking about Stillen Headers.... Any opinions???

Shunya 08-01-2009 09:05 AM

oooh lemme know about the HKS when u get them :P
wanna know what u think before i decide on these too

nogoodname 08-01-2009 09:09 AM

with the Stillen headers....custom fitment is needed

Stillen CBE + Berk HFC + Stillen Header = doesn't fit.
