This will prolly be the last time you guys see my Z in black. I'm getting really excited for August and all my body mods....

JJaden, you painting it or wrapping it once you get done with all the mods??

Undecided at this point, I was torn between Matte Gray Paint or going with a Matte Black/White wrap.

I will be late for the meet, hope you guys can wait till around 1:30ish for the meet, I've got some business in burlington that I need to wrap up.

Great meet guys, biggest one I've been to so far. Everyone was really cool, and it was great meeting you all. Sorry I couldn't come along for the cruise, but things seemed to be running pretty late.

I picked up a new iPhone this afternoon and am trying to figure it out, after switching from a Blackberry. Does anyone have any experience with synching the Bluetooth? For some reason the iPhone doesn't seem to find the Z.

Dizzy, you were totally right about the shifter, I managed to change it in 5 mins in the parking lot of booster juice this afternoon using the trusty hand wrench.

DjSquall 06-26-2011 07:02 PM

Thanks to everyone for coming to the meet today!! We had a great turnout, I believe this was the largest GTA meet we've had so far. Now please excuse me, but I have 471 pictures to sort and edit! So plz don't scream at me if I take a while to upload them!

Alphawerx - I am definitely feeling the straight pipe setup you and djsquall have! I will be putting a set of those into my plans for the car. Also if you do decide to get some wheels this year remember I want dibs on those spacers! and some decals? Also my buddy was wondering if u sell the tees with the alpha squad and the logo on it like dj's? If so we would both want one to lol!

DjSquall 06-26-2011 08:20 PM

Hmmmm I might have an objection about the spacers lol :D

Having met you, I know your hand wrench has a hell of a lot more torque than mine does!! ;)

Great meet guys! Can't wait to see some of the shots the people with the nice SLR's took! These ones from my pocket instamatic will have to suffice for now, but it shows the great turn out!

Hey Mike, It was nice meeting you and your buddy. Whenever you're ready let me know and we'll slap those pipes on. I will definitely let you know when I change my set up for the rims. If you want, you can PM your address and I'll send the stickers and tees to ya. I'm planning to design new tees in the near future ... any suggestions for designs on the tees that would spice things up for toronto Z guys would be great. See ya at the next meet!!

P.S. It was a great turn out today and it was a pleasure meeting you all. I will push to get those pics up for you guys ASAP!!... until the next episode we shall meet again!!:tiphat:

Sounds like I missed a good meet. Hopefully we can plan another on later one this summer.
Did anybody bring significant others, or was it all guys?
What did you think of Tom's exhaust when you took a ride. I've heard it outside, but I am concerned about the noticable drone in the cabin?

DjSquall 06-27-2011 08:48 PM

Yeah, the ladies came along!

Btw, sorry I've been loafting on the pics. Trying to get my car issues straightened out :(

alphawerx 06-27-2011 10:08 PM

Yep, significant others always welcome!

I really like the exhaust sound inside the cabin. It was a very short ride as Tom had to get going to a family event. He did mention to me that if you do a lot of constant speed highway driving, the drone is there and can get to be a bit wearing. Not really an issue for me as at this point, I don't do a lot of constant speed highway driving.

Adam, got the Nismo shifter knob installed, although much more difficult than yours to remove old one.
It just wouldnt turn, so had to try a few tricks from another posting.
Finally got it off, but leather wrap around outside came off, middle leather piece stayed on , actually looks ok

Love the new shifter, feels and looks great, thanks again Adam!! :tiphat:
