Today is the day. Not supposed to be too warm (8 or so), but sunny. Roads are not too bad on the highways, so will avoid the city/towns. Winter is toooo long here sometimes.

I'm working on it. Slowly bringing it back to life after its long hibernation. Today, I continued charging the battery. I had to cycle the ignition on and off to reset the windows (dead battery issue). Got the detailing kit up from the basement and into the garage for the summer. Tomorrow, I will be moving the snowblower to the back of the garage to make room for lifting the Z up for some under-car maintenance.
I did wash my wife's Accord this afternoon. That's a big step since we still have three feet of snow in our yard. (I did manage to clear the driveway about a week ago.) This feels like Twitter. Ahh.... spring is the time for thoughts of love. I just may drive it again. No insurance it it yet... but maybe in 6 weeks or so. I can see the light ahead. What a country! |

Ran a 12.721 in the 1/4 mile. its now the quickist 7 AT in the 1/4 mile. Its the only way to make the ecu learn how to run the engine after a winter lay away. Z |
Well, the business travelling has subsided long enough to get her out! Add one more Z returned to roads!! And man, does it ever feel good!!!

sad...rain all weekend. |
Maybe it's time to put the car away..... Driving down the highway and these huge white flakes started blowing in the window and across the car. Huge drifts blowing across the highway. Then I noticed they weren't melting..... probably because they were actually flower pedals from the blossoming apple and cherry trees 8)

Well, I brought her back to life last night. After 6 months of slumber, I fired the engine last night. All went well and I made sure everything was still working after the loss of the battery over the winter.
Just love that new car smell she still has (even after 18 months). Well, only 6 more weeks until she'll be back on the road. Can't wait. |
first 2011 road trip

Finally got the Zed out of the garage for the first time since October 31 last year. She fired up no problem, but sounded a little rough. I took a little trip from Calgary out to Canmore then Kananaskis with the little woman. It felt great. Saw a couple of sheriffs on the way out of town on the trans canada, but none on the way home. On a side note, I saw another 370Z for the first time this year in Calgary - a platinum graphite near Market Mall. |
Sick pic! congrats on bringing her out.....
I wish I had mountains near me for the winter months. It sucks boarding in Ontario it's so small scale compared to real mountains...... I'd love to move out west someday |
Ya, the mountains here are beautiful. Not only do we have mountains, but we have more crude oil than Saudia Arabia. On the other hand, it can snow here every month of the year.

Maybe, but we have no PST here. My point was all that oil means lots of jobs. But now we're getting off topic. I almost wish I was still living in SoCal so I didn't have to put my zed away for the winter.
|
so... when was it again you're bring out the Z?
|
It was on Saturday, 23 April.
|
did over 200km on the z on sat!! had the top down all day...cant wait until summer:happydance:
