Just another bad day

So this is how it begin.
The parking security phoned me at 5am today. I was shocked that who can this be at this time. Yes, the bad news is my Z got scartched on the front bumper, fender, and the driver side tires. The bumper sticks out for about 3cm. I am hoping the the bolts are not broken otherwise they are going to pay for more. If I get a replace of a front bumper, I will consider if aftermarket ones work.. well, the tire, what would I say about it. It is a special order from the US and takes about 2 weeks to get here. If is bad luck just as nowadays, the snow storm, these tires runs out quickly. If that happen, I can't even drive. The funny part is, I got hit by a snow truck. I don't know if that guy is drunk or just not paying attention. I met with this guy and then the parking security and the police came, he is even making fun of it. Gosh, I just couldn't understand how can he be like that when doing such a mistake.. I don't want to get too much from the insurance company cause I know they are not going to pay for it. The good thing is the owner of that company are going to pay for everything that they have done to my Z..I guess is gonna get busy these weeks.:shakes head::shakes head::shakes head:

And I will post the picture of what is damaged....

Sorry to hear about your fender bender. If you haven't done so already, notify your insurance company and see what they have to recommend on the other guy not going through his company's insurance. You don't want to be left out in the cold and paying out of pocket because they default on their promise to pay and then you have to drag them off to court on your time. Hope it works out for ya.

IDZRVIT is right. Contact your insurance company. When people say they'll pay out of pocket it always throws up a red flag.

Please also get some kind of acknowledgment letter from the plowing company that they have agreed to pay in a certain amount of sum to cover the damage due to the accident.

There is update on discussion section. I also put up a post there. So that you can see what is damaged. Well, one of the auto police came and get everything recorded. Both I and that driver too the photo of the damage parts and exchanged the information. The police have settled that the snow plow driver will pays everything that had done to my Z. What I can do is call their Boss, where he is on vacation right now and sure be back next week. I will get the car to one of the body shop and get a price estimate. The I will get the price quote on tires cause they are longer to get here. I will then give the price quote to the boss and let him deal with it. As long as is all fix, there should be no problem with it. But yes, I will let the boss right the letter of agreement that they promise to repair my Z

i would try to contact their insurance carrier directly and start the claim with them..you have a police report which indicates the plow driver is at fault..thats really all you need to show their insurance company.."the boss" really has no control over this at this point...GL.

I phoned the insurance company and did report it. Got it towed later today to one of the deaalership and see what they can do to it. Maybe get a estimate quote so I can get to my third party..
