You're lucky you can still drive her. I've got withdrawal in the worst way...mine's been parked since Nov 15, and with all the snow we've gotten, I don't even know if I can let her loose by the end of March. :(

i can barely see the inside... the roof panel is blocking the way. i dont really want to remove the roof panel.. looks like a pain in the *** to do and ill want to dynamat my roof if i take it out

Flows really nice! I like the look.
I wonder if that'd work on my C.S. color.
I'm putting on the TS c.f. hood in the spring, and was going to paint it all the same to keep it understated, but now you've got me second guessing myself.

Nitrouz 01-25-2011 01:17 AM

thanks man! I think this mod doesn't need to tie in with the hood as it's just a link with the front windshield and back window. You can still paint your hood. But if you're going to paint, get the FRP hood instead. With CF, it'll be very wavy and your gloss paint will accentuate that.

For what it's worth, my Top Secret CF hood for my 350z fit like ***... tossed it after a week. A waste of $2k.

That's Alberta for ya bro... I lived in Calgary for 2 years where I went to SAIT for the first 2 years of my post secondary education before I went to Europe for my bachelors and masters... And that was the most fun I had in my 6 years of college...

Yeah, if there was a decent FRP hood out there I'd go for it. I want the venting of the TS. I've had good success with my paint shop, who have assured me they can fill the C.F. for a smooth finish.
Fingers crossed.

Mind sharing what paint shop that is? I'm looking for a good one

whats the website and where is this place where you got your roof done?

Ztoon 09-30-2011 04:01 PM

Sorry guys, I just spotted your questions now.
It's called "Save On Autobody" - 130-2840 Olafsen Ave, Richmond. They're just off Bridgeport at about No.5.
The roof turned out perfect!
I also had them paint my vented fenders, and was equally pleased.

complete vinyl job range from 2500-5000

you can try doing the job yourself. it not extremely hard but it takes time to get better at it.

Mine also required fitment and structural changes. This had nothing to do with the body shop. End result was great though.

Cafiax 10-06-2011 11:45 AM

Vinyl wrapping costs that much? How much would a matte paint job cost? Its mostly the labor fee that contributes to the ~2500-5000 right?
