XM vs Sirius

OK, I tried the search function, and have dome a little googling, but the answer doesn't seem clear and to boot, most answers have a US references.

So, anyone know if at the end of my free trial I can say no thanks to XM and sign up for Sirius here in Canada? I know it's now the same company but it appears they still function as two seperate entities. Anyone know if the stock radio can be programmed to recieve Sirius, or is it a hardware (antenna) change?

Not overly impressed with XM, but I do love Sirius!

My car is xm and my home radio is sirius. I have to pay two subscriptions to two diffferent companies with no discount for multiple radios. Its total bs since once sirius took over xm my crappy stock turned into sirius-xm but they are still charging as two companies.
They are both identical in there music selections. The only thing that makes sirius better is u dont have to pay more to get Howard Stern and the NFL. Xm u have to pay like 5 extra bucks to get the best of sirius.
On a side note satelite radio isnt worth it to me without Howard Stern and once he leaves i will cancel both my subscriptions.
If u stick with xm just tell them that u want to cancel and they will offer u five months for 20 dollars.
U need a new antenna to recieve sirius but i think this will hook up to the head unit to play sirius on the stock radio
