BTW, is there a separate switch for it? If so, where is it located?

So is it just a bulb replacement or the whole unit in this case?

It is a replacement unit that u just switch with the stock one. As for the switch there should be a second switch u can turn a little further in on the stock u use to turn on your lights.

nice! thanks for the info. Not sure if I will be replacing it but this is good to know.

I think once u look at the fog a couple times you will see the general ugliness of the stock light. For some reason it's the only regular bulb on the entire rear end of the car??? Looks off IMO.

Can't the bulb just be replaced for one of lower wattage?

Any recommendations on the Fog replacement bulbs? Is there a DIY thread for this?

LMBmikeZ 08-04-2011 10:53 AM

The only mod I know of for the existing fog light/bulb is to replace it with a 7446 bubl which has a dual filament so it can be used as a brake light. You will also need the socket for it from anoter vehicle (probably best bet s scrap yard) you just cut the old one off and splice in the replacement. Also should note you will need to also tap your power wire into your brake lights so they come on together.

O ya 1sweetZ, YES there is a DIY thread for this. I would post the link but I'm at work on my phone so it's a little harder to do then when I'm on my computer.
