Well I will be there in August to steal all the peaches. :bowrofl:

JK! I lived in the Okanagan for 18 years and was born in Kimberley. I used to hate on tourists too, mostly cuz they drove like they had never seen a mountain before an ended up driving into the lake! If you know the Okanagan you know what I mean! But it was Saskatchewan drivers that were the worst! 20km/h and a death grip on the wheel cuz they have never seen a corner before!! :roflpuke2:

PS: My family was evacuated twice in the last big fire of 2003 while I was deployed. Bin there, dun that....

Maybe I should clarify more, check out this scenario big stinky truck hauling various offroad toys etc. parked in one of our various outback areas tearing up the place with said toys, leaving behind whatever mess they see fit with no regard for the people that actually take care of these backcountry areas. Another scenario before mentioned truck sitting in bridge traffic stinking up the place and then throws out lit cigarette to the side of the road. The common thing about both of these scenarious is the Alberta plates on the truck and trailer. This is two scenarious that repeat several times a day and always is the same people.

Not that I want to rant but my :twocents:

Lets move on now shall we, man I should never have mentioned it.:wtf2:

So does anyone know who owns the white Nismo in K-Town July long weekend? Maybe it was from the US?

Your going to have a hard time finding cherries this year, or wait just stay home that sounds like a better idea.:stirthepot:

There's always cherries, even if they have to drive them up from the Okanogan (american side of the border)....

Juleous 07-11-2010 11:05 AM

We had a very poor spring, no sun and tons of rain. Cherries this year are really water downed not as sweet this year, the fruit season out here this year is not great.

We send money to your economically dead province so we feel entitled to leave a mess for you guys to clean up. Didn't your dad ever tell you nothing in life is free, we help keep a few of you hippies employed while you try to clean up after us!

I'd make some sort of retorical comment but then I'd just have to explain it to you and that would take all the fun out of it....
