April 17 Edmonton meet

Well ill start a offical thread for the meet today. My pictures are uploading now. I had a good time and seen some nice cars, hope we do it again soon.

wheee! 04-17-2010 09:43 PM

Yup, that was fun! Too bad we didn't get everyone out there, but it was a good start. The Z's were getting a lot of attention. Next time we should pick a place that is less crowded and more focused on our cars. Would have been nice for more people to come and see them etc. Looking forward to your pics Snakes.

well i suggested having a small meet at the Castrol Raceway on April 28th or shortly there after, but i dont think alot of people want to race their cars. Usally what me and my buddies do is meet up somewheres, cruise together to the track, race for awhile then cruise to a pub or something and get some drinks.

I would have come if I wasn't shooting a wedding. Plus if I was there yesterday I wouldn't have gotten my front bumper hit by some loser who just took off afterwards, at the church parking lot...may God strike him down...LOL! Sorry, already posted a comment about it in the Zedmonton Lounge.

Thanks Snakes!! Great shots. I looked at the few I took and it wasn't worth it to post them. I guess I was talking too much and not taking pictures.

Fantastic afternoon, great cars , and great people! We WILL do this again!

edconline 04-18-2010 10:18 PM

+1 for awesome pics dude. I agree that next time we should try to find an open area where we can park all the 370's next to each other and get some sweets shots of that.

I saw a white 370Z 3 times today, at Namao, downtown and at West Ed! If I ever manage to get next to him, or any other 370's that aren't on the forum I'll try to get them to join up. We need more colour! Lol, that was quite a parade of black and silver yesterday. Looking forward to the next one, should be getting Stillen/Berk parts installed the last week of this month :D

wheee! 04-18-2010 11:01 PM

Hey! Don't forget Black Rose!!! ;)

edconline 04-18-2010 11:33 PM

I didn't forget lol, I just meant when we were driving the convoy over to Hudson's it was just the two colours. Shoulda stuck around!

WoZZer 04-19-2010 09:00 PM

yea im looking forward to the next meet also. I just got home tonight from gun camp...i fired 100+ 105mm rounds...good times. Also i gotta pick up the rest of my nitrous parts that are waiting for me at the post office.

wheee! 04-23-2010 07:39 AM

haha, yea the scavenger system on one of the tanks that i was loading for went down. We fired 5 SH-PRAC, 5 Smoke, 2 Sabot and 2 boxes of COAX manually cuz the stupid palm controls were messed up. Besides sucking wind through my a**, i couldnt breath cuz of that damn cordite.

As for sunday, im back with Recce for this CTCC, we dont have to be at the base until 1400hrs :happydance:

As for my car...picking my nitrous parts up in a hour or two. I'm actually thinking about re-wiring how i have it set up. I'm thinking about making the arming switch the VDC button and putting the purge botton somewheres, so everything is stealth. I just need to figure out a way that i can turn my VDC on/off without having my nitrous system turn on.

djpathfinder 04-23-2010 10:50 AM

Can you use the blank spot between the seat heater buttons (switch location for the rear fog lamp in Europe)? How about the spring loaded fog light switch on the turn signal stalk?

http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p...9/IMG_0474.jpg

I wanna try to make it hidden. Cops already gave me abit of **** for it.

Oh and Ericksen's just called me, my fender liners are in for the nismo body kit conversion...lol

djpathfinder 04-23-2010 12:23 PM

How about a black switch instead of "hey look at me" red? LOL!

yea i dont like the red personally but thats what the kit came with, thats why now im trying to think of other ways and i think the VDC would be great. Cause lets face it, when i spray the nitrous, my VDC will be off anyways so i have to figure out how the wiring would be. Anyone know what the volts are on the VDC switch, i need something between 9-18 volts to power the Nitrous Management Unit.

Sorry for going way off topic about the meet guys..lol
