Canadians get a decent deal on Nissan 370Z

Canadians have long complained about the price difference between American and Canadian 350Zs. While Americans preferred 350Zs… Canadians balked at the car’s $50,000 price tag and spent their loonies on a cheaper Mazda RX-8. That though should change because, as it turns out, Canadians are getting a bargain on the new 370Z.

Oliver from VWVortex writes: “the 350Z was available only in one trim level in Canada and it was priced at just under $50k. We still only get one trim level: Touring, which is $41,498 for the manual and $42,998 for the automatic (both prices include freight and PDI). Navigation package is another $2500, and the sport package is $4000.”

Convert $41,498 CAD into greenbacks and you’re looking at $33,626 USD. The same Touring Model at Nissan of USA costs $35,155 USD. Seems like Canadians have nothing to complain about anymore.

We are awaiting delivery of the 370Z's to the (st)dealerships, so we can ogle in awe and look for ourselves. Plus having the invoice price in hand would help :tiphat:

Till then we are living our dreams through our southern cousins waiting for delivery of the 370Z's .... do I hear crickets?

I went to a dealership today in Calgary and they said wouldn't even get one in the showroom until March after a local auto show...yeah, we will have to live vicariously through our American friend's 370z stories for a while!

^^^ the local auto show had one over here

^^yeah, i heard of the Montreal show, but the salesman was referring to the Calgary International Auto Show starting March 11...this salesman was pretty clueless so I will check with other dealerships. He had said nobody had ordered a 370Z yet and had no idea which models would arrive on their lot in March...in other words, he was useless so he won't be hearing from me again. The positive I see is maybe the local demand is not that great so maybe will be easier to make a deal.

Village Nissan Sales rep told me that at the toronto auto show it's all "see, see no touch".

A little off topic but the Canadian 370s have LSD as STANDARD (Not added with the Sports Package like the US)

If you're like me, LSD was my only reason to buy the sports (although it would have been cool to have the rev matching tech as well).

Also, if you get the NAV option the 6 Disc CD changer is deleted (most likely due to the 9.3GB music box).

I've been to 2 nissan dealers in the GTA and both quoted me an unofficial interest rate of 6.9% (Based on similar new cars [ie Altima Hybrid]).

^ yup... just got back from the show.
There was a red and a yellow.
Both were view only.

But damn they looked great
