Going to clean out the garage and start up the Z next week. Let the mods begin :tup:

Tinted my tail lights, installed chromed amber turn signals, blacked out my headlights and installed 8000K HID bulbs. Got about 80% of my nitrous kit installed but thats on hold until another vendor gets 1 step colder plugs because GTM wants to charge me $1430 for the plugs, which is ok but then another $105 to ship them...f-that.

I bought 2x 10" subs with a 1200W amp but im waiting until warm weather comes so i can use my ZX6R while my friend has the car in the shop to install those with a custom sub box and at the same time he's installing a compustar alarm and remote starter.

Also ordered is a full nismo body kit...now im just shopping for a painter.

List of mods this winter:

-downgrading to 18 inch base model wheels
-installing winter tires

- Cabin air filter;
- FairLady emblem (makes about 35WHP right of the box...);
- GroundKit;
- RoyalPurple oil change before storage (does that count for a mod?).

It's changing the original oil that came stock with the car, yes its a mod..lol.

i did absolutely nothing!! only because i might be selling the car to go back to a 240z..... but if it doesn't sell by end of april, i'm keeping it.... THEN let the modding begin!

Still under wraps... but added a 2010 Maxima SV to the collection.

Repalacing stock 18" Advans with wider Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires, 245/45 front, 275/40 rear.

For many reasons, but the main reasons are.. I've always been to old cars, and nothing else drives quite like a 240z (mine was lightly modded)! There's driving characteristics that you can only get in a old car.... and same goes for newer cars. I just like older cars just a tad bit. If i can, i'd like to have both but i have no room at my place.

Were going to need special parking stalls side by side, so no one can scratch our babies :tup:

If the weather holds, a meet at the end of March may be in order as noted in other threads.

I don't think the weather will hold ........ we are due for a blizzard or two before the end of May ...... I always aim for driving the car on the roads for the first week of June.

I wish May would get here sooner, i really wanna bring my ZX6R out

Okay... so I'm being optimistic. In any case, lets work on a date once the weather is appropriate (mid-April... oh there I go again).

I could be driving but I keep having to cut the grass... should have just left it instead of mowing it three weeks ago.... :P

Alright got the exhaust yesterdays and it will be on on thursday night can't wait ... Still waiting on the Cai to install it on friday.

I did drive up that way during rush hour.. but my car is 100% stock(sport package). Must've been someone else?

actually, what separates my car from other silver ones(for now) is that i have satin black paint around the exhaust and foglight area. If that's the car you saw. that would be moi.

Sounds great! Sounds almost like stock when cruising and when you step on it, completely different. i haven't heard anything else in person so i can't really compare but i'm pretty happy! Its got the right volume for my taste... not obnoxiously loud. Fits great too

I gotta admit, the new Maxima is a beautiful "family" sedan. Love what Nissan did to "freshen" up a boring design. Congrats!
