Need help asap, speeding ticket ! TORONTO area

First ticket is 130 km/h in a 100 zone which was reduced already, opp. Was going around 140 apparently.

Got another ticket literally 5 mins later, on my own stupidity, cop was dealing with another car and was walking towards his own vehicle and waiving his light and I was not able to switch into the middle lane because it wasnt safe and there were cars behind me so I slowed down and he kept waiving his flashlight meaning move over a lane (wasnt safe to do so) so I was still flustered from the first ticket and nervous, not thinking, I pulled over thinking that's what his waiving meant and only after I pulled over I realized he was telling me to go, but gave me a $490 ticket. 4 points

The speeding was $220, 3 points

Can anyone refer a good paralegal they've used before. Or should I go in myself plead guilty and get it reduced?

The only way the insurance wont hear about it is if it gets dropped. But the 2nd ticket 5 mins later is what's killing me, I was nervous and wasnt thinking and he was a jerk.

Speeding was on 404 just south of Steeles, other one was dvp near eglinton exit

I know you're not in the USA, but I imagine it holds true there: never plea guilty. Traffic lawyers tend to be magical with these things.

You can try Mark Tam paralegal ive always used him and got good results so far. He is in markham though.

Pretty sure pleading guilty won't help you much. But my buddy got a pretty bad speeding ticket, and also a stop sign roll-through ticket in the same week.

He went to one of those ex-copper places. The one on Cawthra with the fake cop car parked outside it all the time? They pretty much guarantee your tickets will be dropped or the demerits removed (they just contact the cops who gave you the ticket and tell them not to show up to court or whatever).

That headache will be gone, but the bill will be significantly higher than the cost of your tickets combined. They also add in some BS about some community benefit donation/fee or something IIRC lol

Basically you're paying extra to avoid the insurance hike, but it's usually worth it. Sucks though.. sorry about the bad luck :(

Traffic Ticket Info Centre on 646 Oakwood Ave, York, ON M6E 2Y2

They are good. They got my buddy off on some pretty bad tickets, and reduced a major reckless/stunt ticket driving or w.e they the ticket said and it got reduced to just a minor noise violation ticket lol i recommend them 100%

Used x copper. I was doing 30 over in a 60 zone. They were ar to drop the points and reduce it to 10 over.

Can tell you i paid more than the ticket (ticker was 200ish? And i ended up paying 300 + 60 for ticket) but first year alone insurance was 3100 vs had i ate the charge over 4000

Do you have the number?

I've used 2 places years ago, the last person I used was referred from a friend and only got it reduced and no points, insurance still went up, was for speeding.

The one before that was for speeding again like 13 years ago and same thing, reduced fine, no points but overall insurance still went up...... ugh such bad luck... God.. why did I pull over...

Any speeding will impact insurance.
