what exhaust are you getting? just curious :)

cobra 08-04-2017 04:18 PM

Magnaflow. I like the sound and I didn't want to spend too much.My buddy put it on his Mustang V-6 and he likes it and I got somewhat of a small deal from his buddy. It's a buddy buddy thing.

officially for sale

Sorry I lowered the price, it's for sale $200.00
2014 370z OEM catback in good working condition 55,000KM.

$300 for an oem cat back? Good luck. Most people here consider themselves lucky to get $50.

cobra 08-22-2017 03:39 AM

I had no idea what it's worth on the used market so I threw a number.
I saw a guy selling a Nismo OEMcatback for $400.00, don't know If he sold it though. Thanks for the tip.

Angadoneal 08-22-2017 06:41 AM

The nismo cat back is a true dual exhaust and is a performance upgrade to the regular exhaust without adding too much sound. That being said not too many people looking for that either so $400 be hard but they are priced close to $1500 on websites. If I were you I'd just hang on to the stock setup, not really worth selling.

I threw my stock exhaust in the scrap metal pile but kept the HFC

It wasn't worth the effort to trying to sell or give away.

cobra 08-22-2017 06:23 PM

You never know. $200.00 seems reasonable but I don't care either ways if I sell it or not. If somebody has a badluck.

jamtinge 08-23-2017 07:47 AM

how do you like your Magnaflow exhuast in terms of fitment and sound? I too was tempted by its price, but went different route due to lack of reviews. I read its another version of Ebay exhuast, but couldn't find any reviews that specifically talk about Maganaflow.

Save your time and feelings of disappointment.

Order a Fast Intentions exhaust system and never look back. The best built exhaust out there and IMO, the best sounding. It even has noise options of louder or quieter and built in HFC's options.

I already installed Invidia Gemini and i love it. It's got zero drone which is a big plus for DD. The HP gain from FI is nice, but Invidia gemini cant be beat for its 1/2 price. i don't think the z lacks in power department anyways.

I am very happy with Magnaflow and the way it fits and sounds. It is fun to drive to work again, I installed it myself and my wife and had no problems. I only had to cut an extra bracket in the back for a hanger that doesn't exist on the sport 370z, it was probably installed to fit a Nismo I supose.

I'm not 25 anymore so for me it's loud enough, I have another car that makes a lot more noise than any of these exhaust systems out there so it was not a priority to make a lot of noise but fast intention and Stillen were on my list but more pricey.

Dude, $200 won't happen. Either you get lucky and someone local gives you $50 or a case of beer, or you scrap it.

cobra 08-24-2017 03:50 AM

People like free stuff so If I post that it is for free I bet you somebody will come and pick it up, people like free stuff. I know a guy that will take it for sure for free, he drive down my street when it's collection day and he picks up scrap metal.

cobra 08-28-2017 01:02 PM

Ain't happening,

but price down to $100.00 now, I'm a patient and maybe delusional man but there must be somebody who hit something on the highway and punched a whole in the exhaust, I know you need it !

cobra 10-06-2017 05:32 PM

Trade in for a Metal Muff guitar pedal maybe.

cobra 11-04-2017 06:10 AM

I bought the metal muff pedal, awesome. How about $50.00 for the exhaust, last call.
